    Coleman a/c troubles again
Okay I don't have the funds to call a repair man so here I am. I've got a coleman central air unit that has had a lot of upgrades (new circuit board latest). I turned the air on and it was blowing room temp air. I went outside to see if the fan was working and it wasn't. So I tried turning the thermostat up above room temp. then I went outside took off the access panel and watched while I had wife turn the temp. down. Inside blower works fine but not a damn thing on the unit itself no hum nothing. I am very reluctant to press in on the contactor with a screwdriver so I didn't. Any other suggestions to help would be greatly appreciated.(Detailed please)

First check to see if you have power to the unit on that circuit, and if the control wires are okay.

For power, check for 220VAC power at the box and also at your contactor.

For control wires, if you have a control board check for 24VAC to the board. For a simple A/C system with 2 wires, simply check continuity on the two wires.
