    Car still isn't fix
I took my car to the shop to get the transmission fixed. I got charged 1500 dollars. I have taken the car back about 5 times within the year. It is not fixed. It responds late when you are driving. The owner said nothing was wrong with the car so I took it to Amco I got a written report stating the car problem. The transmission. This report was showen to the owner he didn't say anything. I reported it to the BBB . I got my car backafter 2 months. The car is the same way. What should I do . I am tierd of this. I can't afford being out of my car.

Easy, sue them in small claims court for the money you paid them. You will need the statement from the other shop and maybe even have a tech from the other shop to testify in court

I have to partially disagree, Fr_Chuck. There are a lot of unanswered questions yet; filing in small claims might be a waste of the OP's time.

To Louis: What state are you in? Did you buy the vehicle from a dealership or was it a private party sale?

Did you test drive the vehicle before purchasing it? Did you complete any type of purchase contract? Did anything indicate that the vehicle was being sold as-is?

Who charged you $1500? Did they replace the entire transmission or did they rebuild it?
