    Electrical Outlets Not Working
I plugged in a lamp. It blew fuses... I have replaced all the fuses, and yet I have two outlets ( one which the lamp was plugged in ) another one in the same room, one in another room, and three different light swiches don't work... what did I miss to check, or what else can be wrong?

May not be screwed all the way in, or a bad fuse.
An Electrician will likely remove panel cover and check voltages coming out of each Fuse.

Did you blow fuses in the same socket or fuses in different sockets? Did they blow when you plugged the light in or when you plugged it in and then turned the light on?

I recently started updating outlets in my home. Three of them in the livingroom don't work. Actually one does, just the top plug. I was updating a rental property that I recently purchased and decided to replace the outlets and light switches as they had been painted over many times. Out of the 15 outlets I changed, four are not working and I have no idea why. A couple of them (the ones that are not working) are connected...
