Wall Control Remote Wiring to Two Switches
I have a ceiling fan wall control that I'm trying to install into a wall outlet. The home is prewired for ceiling fan.. i.e. one switch for light, one switch for fan. The wall remote is a Minka Aire brand. There are 3 wires on the remote, two black wires, one marked "fan" and the other marked "power supply", one green wire marked for ground. How do I wire to the outlet?

The wall control you have is only to control the speed of the fan. If you want to be able to turn the light on you will need a combination fan/light wall control.

The above post is probably incorrect. The wall switch has buttons for fan and light, correct?

You wire it in place of the fan switch, leave the other switch alone.
