Dog peeing in crate during the work day.
I have a six month old male boxer. He is a brindle. He is potty trained, but when I put him in his crate during the day when I go to work he pees in it. He sleeps on the floor in my room all night and has no accidents. He is in his crate for about 8 hours during the day. I take him out before I leave for work and he pees. Any Ideas?

Is there any way you can come home during your lunch break and let him out? Or have a neighbor let him out?

Sleeping 8 hrs without peeing is a lot different that being awake 8 hrs without peeing. He just may not be able to hold it that long.

8 hours = FAR too long to be cooped up in a crate.

Can you hold your pee for 8 hours straight? Neither can your dog.
I would suggest blocking off your kitchen while you are at work so he can at least walk around and play and train him to use puppy training pads.
