How do I get my ex girlfriends guard down
My now ex girlfriend texted me after her father told her not to contact me, she says she loves me but it's the stress that caused this because I first lied about my age, she put her defensive guard back up, how can I assure her I'm the right guy?

Not much you can do besides try telling the truth from now on

Why lie about your age to begin with?

She has to want to let her guard down. Like Rome said, just tell the truth. I don't know how often you guys see each other or talk since the breakup but she has to be able to trust you again.

You broke her trust by lying. No trust, no relationship.

You're going to have to give her time to rebuild the trust, IF you'll ever get it back.

I hope you learnt your lesson.

I think you pretty much already assured her you aren't the right guy.. why try and prove it to her when your actions speak louder than words... maybe the answer you are looking for isn't how can I win her trust back but more, how can I learn to be honest.
