I am trying to locate the sewer line that is outside my house. I have a sewer problem and it is leaking outside. I dug a hole but just don't know how far to dig down. I can't afford for someone to come and dig it up for me. Could you please tell me where I should dig? Thanks Patti

I can't remember who gave me advise (we had the smell coming up from our basement through our vents in the bathrooms). My husband went into the crawl and searched for cracks, etc. in the drain pipes. We started trying to track the smell (it gets stronger after showers and lots of water running)...

Hi~I own an old home and all of a sudden we have plugged sewer drainage! First, the toilet REALLY overflowed and after plunging the toilet, it backflowed into the shower, ugh, nasty!
