    Federal sentencing gudelines
I knew at one point that someone on federal charges were required to serve a mandatory 85% of their sentence. Also I know that all states are different, But I was recently told that Tennessee has changed this minimum to 65%. Now I Know its Federal and not State, but even the federal rules are different among states. Does anyoe know if this change was made in TN?

    Hi twink:

The OP mentioned that they do 85% of their time. I don't think anything has changed since then. The 15% ISN'T good time...

I don't know what they call it. Maybe it's gay time.

    Federal prisons,

    Not a felony in states

All inmates in all Federal prisons are under the same rules no matter where they are located.
Period, end of question on that, In fact a Federal inmate may be moved from state to state for housing issues.

State inmates serving felony crimes, ( that is merely a class of crime) in state prisons are not under any federal guidelines but are under state law.
