    Pressing charges
If I said I wanted to press charges against my ex-wife for taking my keys out of my vehicle would she be arrested immediately or would I physically have to go to the police station and press charges

    Hello u:

Call the cops up. If they want you to come down, the'll tell you. But, don't call the cops on your wife. Why don't you just divorce her? Jail ain't good for a relationship.

It sounds like you are divorced you said exwife

You had to call the police when it happened, what did she do with the keys, is her name on the loan or the title of the vechile. What were you doing with the vechile
Not enough info, for example if you were drunk trying to drive and she took the keys, then she did the right thing.

If this happened some time ago, I doubt the police will do anything now.
