OK I only got 1 shot of depo prov which was nov 11th of 08 and also that day had an abortion but the abortion was not compleate so when I went in for my my 3 week check up they had 2 go in and do the process all over again now I was spouse 2 go back jan 27th but I never did because of horrible side affects headaches no period etc... Now feb 3rd of 09 that's when I started to bleed I blead for 7 days then from there I was heving a period every week 7 days blead 7 days no bleeding and etc so this went on 4 3 monthes so after 3 monthes went by it went to 2 weeks then I just had a peiod may 14th of 09 last 7 days which would be the 21st of may now it is the 26th of may 09 I am back on it I just was woundering when will my cycles go back 2 normal does anybody got a good idea if you do thanks

For some women it can take many months before the bleeding subsides, others don't experience irregular bleeding at all. Check back with your doctor... they may want to do a hormone check to see if they can't help regulate it for you... or to see if there might be another cause that needs to be ruled out. It may be that the injections are just not a good option of birth control for you and other options may be discussed. Can sometimes depend on how long you want to wait to see if it gets better.
