So, I'm new here and I hope I'm posting in the right spot.
Anyway, I got the mirena about 8 months ago. Typically I have pregnancy symptoms, but this time I wanted to test. I tested 5 days ago, but didn't look at it until after the time limit, but it did show a positive. The next morning to be safe I took another test which was faintly positive after 10 minutes. So I waited and took another test this morning, which was sooooo faint, my hubby couldn't even see it, but I did. So, I'm a scared about being pregnant with the iud in place, and don't know what to do. I plan on retesting, but don't know how long I should wait for. My hubby doesn't think I should go to the doctor yet. What do you think?
Pregnant or no
Test tomorrow or wait
Call doctor or wait until I retest
Please, any insight would be helpful!

Give it until the weekend and try another test first thing in the morning and be sure to read it within the first few mintues as directed on the test. Some tests, when looked at later, will show a false positive.
If you are still unsure after taking that test, then see your doctor to confirm one way or the other.

I'm curious, were you pregnant or not? I have the mirena and have had it in since March 09 and have had pregnancy symptoms.
