    Can I sue for water damage
    Can I sue my landlord for water damages done to my bedroom in my apartment since it been happening for over a year and no one will let me buy renters insurance because my case is high risk.

    Property, and if you are renting, the ceiling is not literally your property.
    However, it does create unpleasant living conditions, and possibly
    Unhealthy ones as well, if molds develop from the permeating
    Dampness.

    Which the LL very well might have an obligation to fix.
