    Odd dog behavior
Hello, I have a miniature schnauzer. Recently she has been trying to get under my bed and also has been balling up the two area rugs I have in my room. She has also started begging for food when we eat. I don't understand where the misbehaving has come from. Please help if you can. Thank you

Maybe someone babysat her and let her do stuff that you don't allow?
Does she want to be under the bed to play or to lay?
When you say balling up on the rugs do you mean laying on them?
Someone must have given her people food if she has recently started begging. Don't give in. If you give her scraps she will continue to beg. You could also put her in another room or crate when eating.

Part of that is their nature. My Shih Tzu's love to burro under the bed and bunch up the rugs and lay in them. Try giving your dog a doggie bed with blankets and space to claim as her own. The under the bed thing can be so dangerous but it is hard to stop.

Has she been out unsupervised, say about 9 weeks ago? That sounds amazingly like nesting behavior.

    I agree catsmine!

    How old is your schnauzer?
    Has she been fixed?
How long have you owned her for?
