    Dryer Squeak
I have one of those washer/dryer combos. You know the one where the dryer is on top of the washer. Well the dryer sqeaks like crazy. Not just for a few moments but through the whole cycle. Is there anyway I can fix it and how? Also the drum on the inside is loose and the clothes get stuck. It the drum supposed to move like that or is there just a loose screw?

You're probably going to have to open it up and look. It may be the rollers that the drum moves on. It may be the idler arm. It may be the motor. Drums are usually fairly lose, though I can't tell if yours is worse than others, or not.

GE Elite Dryer Squeak [ 1 Answers ]

This dryer is only 1 year old, so I'm surprised it is already squeaking. It's an intermittent squeak that doesn't happen too often, but it's still high pitched and annoying. Anyone have any insight on what it may be? Something that could be greased perhaps?
