My girlfriend and I of two and a half years recently broke up three days ago. The reason was that I didn't make her happy anymore, and there were some things that I had done to push her away. I know what I did was wrong, but I never cheated on te girl, and I gave her most of my attention all of the time. Now after three days she had told me that she had already slept in another mans bed. She said they didn't have sex, but she had been drinking and it was to late for her to leave. I care for her so much and the only thing I want is for her to be happy, whether its with me. Now I am going through the days trying to get the images of her out of my head. I know its only been four days now, but every time I see myself getting over it, the images of the time we had together and what she is doing now haunt me. WHAT SHOULD I DO??

Many of us have been there and there is lots of great advice about no contact available on this site.

The fact that she is already comfortable enough to go home alone with another man and sleep in his bed - sex or no sex, is a really great motivation that you shouldn't go back to this relationship. It's time to relearn about yourself with out her and build new memories, in time it will get easier, but first start reading.
