    Auto Loans and Wage Garnishments
Hello. I live in the state of South Carolina. At the beginning of January '09 I voluntarily surrendered my vehicle because I no longer could afford to pay for it. I know in some states a person's wages can be garnished because of an auto loan. I would like to know if South Carolina is one of those states which allow these particular garnishments? I am desperately awaiting an answer from you. Please help.
