I love the boy who hates me, not my boyfriend
I used to have a thing with this guy, we'll call him "Fred." Then his parents wouldn't let him have a girlfriend until next year (6 months away). So he stopped talking to me, but didn't tell me why until like a month later. I decided to brush it off and continue on life. But I really wanted a boyfriend, and I was still hanging out with some of his friends. So I hooked up with his best friend, (by hooked up I mean he is now my boyfriend, but we haven't done much) anyway, fred saw us cuddling and now he hates me. But the more I talk to fred, the more I realize that I still like him a lot! And that my new boyfriend was kind of just a rebound, I don't think I really like him that much. Fred also just told me he still likes me, but can't believe I betrayed him so he never wants to talk to me again. What should I do?

Well in my opinion, What you did to Fred was not very nice. If you did care about him, you should have waited 6 months. What you did to Fred's best friend is also mean, because you used him just because you wanted a boyfriend, so anyone would have done. In essence, you hurt Fred because you should have waiting for him, but you didn't, and you got with him best friend. That would make him angry at you and maybe at his best friend too. You also are going to hurt the guy you are dating now, because you don't really care for him like you care for Fred, and are just using him. He is disposable to you, and nobody wants to feel that way. He is not even really dating you since you have feelings for Fred. What I think you should do is tell your current boyfriend you are very very sorry for doing this to him and that you made a huge mistake, but you have feelings for Fred. You better hope he understands and is not crushed. The you go to Fred and apologize to him and tell him you really like him, and you made a foolish mistake by dating his best friend, and that you will wait for him for as long as it takes because you really like him. After that, you can only hope he forgives you and then take it from there. Good luck. Peace |
