    Ice build up on the coil of my freezer
    I have a 6 year old GE side by side refrigerator. I can hear the fan running but the freezer is defrosting and the refrigerator is not cold. I removed the back panel inside the freezer and notice the ice build up. I thawed the ice with a hair dryer. It worked for a few days and the problem reoccurred. What would cause this problem?

    Most likely a defective defrost timer motor
