94 civic won't start in rain or heat
I got my car going on 1 year ago from my aunt. She kept it in a garage for 14 years and drove it everyday. It rained soon after I got it. I tried starting it and it sound like it wasn't getting any fuel (it would try to start but not turn over). I changed the main fuel relay and the fuel filter. It does this in the rain and heat. Help.

    Thanks zach

Also when I know I can start it, I can hear a click and hum. It sounds like its finally pushing fuel to the engine. I have waited up to 45 minutes for it to "click and hum".

. Clean the main ECM ground (brass connector with 3 wires), located on the thermostat housing, with steel wool or abrasive cloth. Afterwards, apply dielectric grease.

. ECMs on older Hondas are failing. Perform the K-Test on the ECM, particularly when the Check Engine Light stays on or you can't hear the fuel pump hum:

Remove the MAP Sensor connector and turn the ignition switch to ON (not start). Using a multimeter, check for 5 volts going between the MAP Sensor connector's reference wire (+) and ground. As you look at the connector, this is the socket on the right. Really press the black test lead into a cleaned main ECM ground on the thermostat housing. If the voltage is low, it's probably indicating ECM failure. Most failed ECMs will record a fraction of a volt. To me, the K-Test is simple, elegant, and accurate.
