I have been dating this women for a few weeks now and we talk on the phone 5 to 6 times a week for hours at a time. Recently she was telling me how she doesn't know if she wants to continue to see me and says that me having kids has a lot to do with it but that she is unsure and doesn't want to waste my time. She seems hesitant about droping the hammer and stated that she wanted to still be my friend because she really enjoys talking to me. I have started to develop feelings for her and told her that I couldn't remain friends because it would be too hard to see her and not be able to pursue a relationship with her. She hasn't ended it yet and want's me to call her tonight. Should I just let her go and not see her or try being her friend. I don't want to be her emotional tampon or try to hold on to hope that she will change her mind about me. What do I do? Thanks.

What does that mean?

If she is not into dating someone with kids,than chances are she is not going to change her mind.

She was honest enough to tell you up front and I think you should respect her wishes.

There's not much you can do really. You can't force someone to be in a relationship with you. If she says that she still wants to be friends, then you'll just have to respecct her wishes.

Just because she told you to call her it doesn't means you have too. You don't even have to her friend just move on.

She was honest with you and I would prefer honesty over lies anyday. Her hang up is kids, for forever reasons, and you can't change that. I wouldn't want to be with someone that don't accepts my kids anyway.

Move and don't have any further contact with her regardless if she contact with you. Find that someone that wants to be with you and would accept your kids.
