    Pregnancy post tummy tuck
    I had a tummy tuck 5 years ago and am now 18 weeks pregnant. My question is, should I be concerned that I am not showing, is that a result of the tummy tuck?

    No I don't think so. I didn't show until I was 7 months. Really. It may be because of the tummy tuck or because of how your body is formed.

    Not to worry- a lot of women go through this, so your not alone. There is enough room for the fetus to grow.

    Keep up with prenatal care and doctors visits, the best person to answer your questions is your doctor.

    It's not the size of the tummy that's the concern, it's the size of the uterus. Since you uterus wasn't involved in the tummy tuck there is no worry. Your skin will stretch to accommodate the growing baby.
