    How can I find out the history on my house? Did anyone die there? Fires? How old is the home?

    You can do a lot ( alot) of research, go to the recorder of deeds and find the history of who owned the property

    Go to the tax records and see when there were jumps in the tax value, ( this will show perhaps remodels or buidlings

    you can go to the city and review any building permit records they may have on file for that property.

    Talk to people who have lived there a long time as to things they have heard.
