95 integra LS non-vtec.DRIVING ME MAD!
I have a 95 integra LS non-vtec with no spark & CEL stays on after key is in the on position. Now before this condition, a plug wire was pulled off with vehicle running and it fried the igniter. Vehicle wouldn't start. I repleased it and the vehicle started fine. Great right... WRONG. I picked this vehicle up from a buddy that didn't feel love for cars. It's a little ratty. So, I pull it in to my garage & decieded to give it a compression test. So, far its look great. Good compression on the cylinders all very close in PSI. Ok, now I go to start it and it turns over but doesn't crank up. CEL is on and no spark. Swapped out main relay, no blown fuses under hood or under dash. I proformed the K-test and I got less than 5volts @ ECU ground connector. I cleaned the ground & checked again and still less than 5volts. I swappeed out distributor with used one. I also got a new coil & ignitor. I picked up a used ECU and still no spark and less than 5volts @ ground. I even verified the voltage @ the ECU connector pin#19 & #22. I still have no spark & CEL is on. Does anyone see something Im missing? PLEASE HELP!!

. Check the ACG (ALT) (S) fuse in the underdash fuse box with your multimeter. It is often overlooked, since it is usually located in the SRS Block. Hopefully, you were very thorough checking underhood and underdash fuses with your multimeter. It can save a lot of time and money.

. Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting:

What voltage did you record, while performing the K-Test?

I did check all under hood & under dash fuse. I double checked the ACG (ALT) (S) fuse and it gave me 12V. I did another K-test and when I grounded it @ the ECU ground it fluctuated up & down, but it jumps in the .4v range. Now when I ground it @ the battery ground post it gives me 4.3-4.4 volts... I checked the ignition & is getting 12V. It does seem like the ignition area was fooled with before. Its got wire going to the ignition switch taped & tie strapped to the ignition cylinder houses... I didn't see any wires, frayed, pitted or melted...
