    Thermostat needed
    Buying 2 story home but no thermostat for units, unit is lennox 13acd. Does the thermostat need to be the same brand, do they work together or separately

    You will need to know if you have a heat pump or just a heating and air conditioning system or just heating.

    Most any brand will work with your system if it matches what kind of system you have.

I believe that when we re-run the program with the correct date and time, if the temp has to go up, the furnace runs until it gets the appropriate temp, then it turns off and when it does that, the thermostat also turns off going to the HOLD state.:confused:
