My light has turned to dark.

My Soul has lost its spark.

My Love has left me empty.

Its more than I dreamt it would be.

So overwhelming with pain.

With my tears falling like rain.

Despair has set in for good.

There is no Hope that I could.

Ever get you back in my arms.

I have done no good only harm.

I wish you would just stay and never go.

But I have no choice but to let you grow.

You're my wants my needs the reason I breath.

Now Im alone and dying with no light left seen.

I will always have you, but only in my dreams.

Holding you close as I see your face beam.

Now I just reach for you at night wishing you were there.

Alone I lay here for your voice I want to hear.

For one last kiss, a touch, a smile.

Just to see you again if only for a while.

This is all I have to give.

Without you I will just not be able to Live.

As I wipe my face filled with tears from my eyes.

This is the hardest thing to say to you, " Goodbye "

My opinion - the forced rhyming takes away from the emotion of the poem. Turning it into free verse might work better (keeping most of the words).
