    Moving Expenses (Form 3903)
    Hi,

Can I claim moving expenses under Form 3903 if I moved > 50 miles to a new work location for the same job?

I plan to work full time for at least 39 weeks at the new worklocation

    Thanks!

Yes - if your job location changes so that it is at least 50 miles further from your old home than the old job location was, you can deduct moving expenses. Note the key here is how far apart your new and old job locations are, not how far you moved.
