Is this child abandonment in FL?
My husband has not seen our children for 5 months and has not told us where he's living. We only found out where he was when he was arrested on a felony check charge in January. He did call them on their birthdays. He filed for divorce this month.

He will be on probation for a couple of years here. I don't have family here and have not received support from my husband. Will it be difficult to get sole custody and move out of state under these circumstances?

Is there a child support order in place? Visitation schedule?

Abandonment isn't what you think it is. Abandonment is a crime and one he has not committed (from what you say)

Will it be difficult to get sole custody and move out of state? Depends on if he wants visitation or not. If he does, then yes, it will be very difficult.

I have not received any support, we are supposed to have a hearing in April. He has not asked to see his children.
