    Raw Sewage Clean-up.
Have a question, and have no idea where else to ask. Recently our company was doing some renovations to our building. In one area the construction crew removed a small plastic tank that was in the concrete from a pre-existing toilet that was there. (it had a pump or something to pipe it somewhere else. Sorry,I know nothing about plumbing) During removal the workers spilled liquid from the tank. My boss went and purchased bleach and mopped the area up. In his absence the workers that created the mess were walking with the same gloves on touching lots other areas. My question is there a cross-contamination issue or are things good to go. I basically for the last week have not wanted to touch anything at work for the fear of bringing something nasty home to my kids.. Any help here on what should be done or am I being extremely paranoid about germs?

A good wash down everywhere that could be contaminated with a water and bleach mixture is the only thing I can think of that will clean up the mess. So it depends on how good you do by knowing on how well you know where the contaminated areas are.
