    Recovery Rebate eligibility
    Hi,

I am on H1B in US filed my 2007 tax returns with married filing jointly status. Since my wife did not have the SSN, I did not receive any stimulus rebate for year 2007.

We got a baby in 2008 and my wife still doesn't have SSN, can claim the recovery rebate while filing the 2008 tax returns.

    Thanks for the help,
    Srini

No - your wife must have a valid SSN in order for you to get the stimulus rebate.
