    Iam having a problem with my shower mixer, it was leaking water to the bath, I change all three washers, and stop the leak, but now when I switch to shower, I am getting water both at the shower and at the tub as well, what have I done ,

    From what you said I think you must have a three valve tub and shower faucet. The center valve must not be put together back right. Take it out and before you put it back make sure that the seat of the stem is tight against the rubber washer, then when you screw it back in place maybe it will turn the water in the direction it should go.

    As well as Letmetellus advice check the seat for nicks or rough spots.
    If you find any then replace the seat. (see image).Good luck, tom
