    Goodman GMP100-3
    Hi,

Have a Goodman GMP100-3 that's acting strangely. Here's the scenario:

    - Thermostat calls for heat
    - Inducer starts
    - Vacuum switch pulls in
    - Furnace fires
    - Furnace comes up to heat and blower starts
    - Ignition cuts out as blower starts
    - Ignition sequence restarts and building is heated.

Seems strange to me that the flame trips out as the blower starts and then re-ignites and continues normally.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

Connect a voltmeter to the unit incoming power supply (use analog if available) and observe it during start-up. If the voltage spikes dramatically when the blower is powered, turn power off and check all electrical connections through power supply circuit. Pay particular attention if the supply circuit is aluminum. Also, inspect circuit board for any evidence of overheating/burning or moisture exposure.
