    i.r.s. form 1099a and oid
    Who is eligible to file a i.r.s. 1099 o.i.d. also who can file a 1099a. Can filing a 1099a stop a foreclosure on real property?

    Form 1099-OID is used to transfer taxable interest from one taxpayer to another.

    Form 1099A does NOT stop a foreclousre; it merely reports the difference between what was owed on a foreclosed property and what the fair market value of that property turned out to be.
