What is the exact error message you get

When does this error pop up

What version of IE are you using

    When did this start happening

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any Software or Hardware that you installed or setup.

I'm guessing that you have Windows XP, I have seen "services.exe" appear before, there is a hotfix for it.

Error message on a Windows XP-based computer: "An access violation has occurred in Services.exe":

    Code:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943303/
(You must have service pack 2, to install that Hotfix)

I'm curious, have you Service Pack 3 installed (if you have XP), as services.exe has a fix in Pack 3. If not you can forget about the hotfix if you like and install Service Pack 3.
