    Parential rights in Texas
    What do I need to do to relinquish my parential rights in Texas when I cannot afford a lawyer?

    You need the child's other parent to be married and his/her lawyer will ask you to sign the appropriate paperwork to allow his/her new spouse to adopt your child.

    You cannot just relinquish your parental rights regardless of your ability to afford a lawyer.
