    Parential rights
Hello I am have been a single mother for 13 years and recently I lost custody of my children, It started by a verbak agreement between my kids mothe and I to let them go live with her because of my financial struggle, she asked for legal guardnship so we took it to the social services witch they arrainged a court day, later on the grandmother applied for welfare and now there going after me, there is no father (father passed away 1996) so I am the only parent, now they are after me to pay child support... what can I do to prevent this situation I do work but they will be taking half of my pay, What can I do?

I was a little confused with your thread but I can tell you that you have a fiancial obligation to your child so therefore you must pay child support. Sadly your mother would even see a cent of it because welfare will be getting it.

The only thing I can suggest is get another job or go back to child to see if you might could have the order lower. That decision is up to the judge and it might not happen.

I must say that I am confuse to why you don't have your kids especially since you had them for 13 years. Did you lose custody or give them up?
