I'm planning to have a baby girl, and I want her to have green eyes. None of us in the family have green eyes,nor is in my husband's family. So is it possible for us to hve a baby with green eyes? We all have black color eyes

It is highly unlikely that your daughter would have green eyes, though not impossible.

If you or your husband has a relative anywhere that has green, its possible your children will, but the chances are very slight.

While not likely if there was someone in the past with them, it may be possible.
But even if both you and your husband both had them, the child may still not.

You are asking for way too much detail, what you do need is to be glad with a wonderful healthy child
Since you can not even be sure it will be a girl until you are pregnant

Occasionally a baby comes out with eye color or some other trait that hasn't been seen in the family for a few generations. But that's not all that common or likely. There is a chance that if you had people in the family with green eyes, you and your husband might be carriers for those genes and therefore have a chance of having a green eyed baby. But you can't choose that.

I have a blue eyed baby even though blue eyes haven't been seen in either my family or my ex-husband's family in recent generations. We both have brown eyes. So we must have both been carriers for the corresponding genes and just happened to produce a child with blue eyes.
