We want to adopt my 13 year old brother! I have been married for 3 years.. and my husband and I talk to my mom about their situation.. my mom is currently divorced she brought us (Brother and I) to the USA (TEXAS) 9 years ago and she has been struggling with her finances because of her immagration status.. She has lost almost every job she had and she is not able to provide for my brother.. They have been staying with us for a while now and I see how hard it is for her. We talk to her and she is willing to sign th adoption papers so we can take care of my brother and give him what I wasn't able to have! I need to know if I can adopt him? And how can I get started? I will appreciated any help!
