    Shihtzu ate a little chocolate
    So what should I expect to see or happen , My 14week old Shihtzu ate at little choclate with carmel in middle, it was a small piece, and not sure if I should panic, he seems fine?

    And, where did the little thing get the chocolate. They are like kids, you know, you have to keep that stuff out of reach. How much was a little ? A tiny tiny bit would not hurt. But I get the impression it was a whole piece.

    Like Tickle said, a small piece won't hurt him, but a bigger piece could. Obviously a Shihtzu is a smaller breed, therefore it wouldn't take a large amount to make him sick.

    Keep an eye on the pup, if he starts vommitting, diarreahea, or anything else, then get him to a vet. Otherwise, I think he'll be fine.

    Remember though, if it isn't tied down, puppy will try it. Our beagle would eat anything and everything if we weren't careful.
