    Erase a felony
    I wanted to know how long to do have to wait to expunge a felony 4 of theft The other question is if ihave a felony 1 assult on a police officer and never did jail time only was on probation can that be expunged

    Expungement is a state procedure. Not ALL states allow expungement.

    No matter what state it is, you'll probably have to demonstrate at least 10 years of criminal free conduct. The fact that you have a SECOND conviction won't help at all. As a matter of fact, I think it'll STOP you.

    IF you're eligible, then you're going need an attorney. Why, you ask?? Because, at your hearing, you're going to have a prosecutor on the other side of the table telling the judge how bad a person you are... You're going to need somebody on YOUR side telling the judge that you're not. With TWO criminal convictions under your belt, YOU are NOT the one to be telling the judge how wonderful you are.

    I only have one but I was asking for a friend he has a felony 1 for assult on a peace officer but never went to jail was on probation for 3 years where in Ohio I just wanted to know can a felony 1 be expundged
