    What Should I Claim?
    I am getting ready to fill out a new W-4 for 2009 and no nothing about taxes. I am single and make $34,000 annually in Colorado. For 2008 I claimed 0. I do not want to owe the government anything when I file my taxes for the year. Should I stay at 0 or change to 1?

    You should be able to claim 2 allowances on your W-4: 1 for yourself and 1 because you are single and have 1 job. See the following for instructions on how to fill out the W-4:
