    Drop pipe and clogged toilet
    We live in a mobile home and have a septic tank we have problems with our toilet becoming clogged when you flush the toilet you can hear it gurgling in the pipes when you let water out of the sink it bubbles in the toilet we have a new drain field and a new toilet can you tell us what may be the probem,we would like to know how much of a drop does the drain pipe need per foot.:mad:

    1/4 inch per foot is the norm. Are you having trouble flushing just solids or is liquid waste also a problem. Do you have a clean out between your home and your septic tank ?

    We have two cleanouts,and it does this with liquids and solids

    If you haven't already remove the cleanout cap between the house and the septic and see if you have water flow when ever the toilet is flushed. Also you should be able to see if standing water is present.
