    Website to fix run-time error
Is it safe to use the websites that advertise free fixes for run-time errors? Like the ones on this website?

I can't address the validity of any of those advertised here as I've never used any of them, but in general I wouldn't recommend it. There are too many bogus sites offering quick and easy fixes for common problems that instead offer malware or useless software that masquerades as a security/patch/fix scanner and entices you to "upgrade" for $ to "fix" your non-problems. I believe the best source for patches and information concerning known software issues is the original software vendor.

Blindly following forum posts that offer a fix for a specific problem that sounds similar to your problem is also questionable.
