    How can I have my son's father's rights revoked? What's the law on abandonment? I don't have the means for an attorney, I want to know how many years without contact can he be considered abandon

    Why do you want to have his rights revoked? Typically you cannot unless it is to clear the way for a step parent adoption, and then it will usually need his consent.

    A court will rarely just take someone's rights away, especially if you cannot show good cause, and frankly, lack of support is not usually considered good cause.
