Water coming out of vent pipe in loft
Hi my question is this, I have water coming out of the f&e tank in the loft, I have a camray 3 oil boiler which has 2 two port motorised valves in the system (honeywell) and a grundfos pump. The water comes out as soon as the boiler is turned on but the radiators still heat up and the water is still hot out of the taps. Any idea ?( the heating system was installed in the 90s and has worked well to date) the property has been empty since last summer an has been left on a frost setting on the timmer and on the radiator trvs)

Hi, I am wondering if anyone can help me figure out what to do next: I have a sewer gas smell in my bathroom. I had the toilet replaced with a new flange and wax ring. That didn't take care of the problem, so I got up on the roof and flushed the vent pipe with the garden hose. It caused the...

Water coming out of vent pipe? [ 1 Answers ]

I just replaced the laundry sink in my 1940s home. In process I noted what I assumed was a vent pipe (approx. 2" diameter) coming out of basement floor at 45 degree and then turning and going straight up. A joint on this pipe was corroded and came apart; it appeared to be pretty blocked on the...
