How do I transpose this formulae for C?
    Hello

I am trying to transpose this formulae in the attachment to make C the subject. I have had a bash at it but need confirmation it is OK.

Hope you can help, Happy New Year to all and thanks in advance.

it's very close but not quite right and I don't understand the formulae editor so I will attempt to describe in words :-/

when you took the Q inside the square root you only multiplied the A1/A2 by it and you should have multiplied the -1 too - should have used brackets. Maybe you attempted to do that and it didn't come out right on word because in the first formula you have A1 only squared and in the second formula you have A1/A2 squared...

I'm unsure why you took the Q inside the square root and not the A1, if there wasn't a particular reason I'd be tempted to take them both inside so C= a square root.

did that make any sense? It's difficult for me in words and not notation...

    Thanks

I found out in the end and all I had to do was divide everything to the right of C by itself so that would cancel out and leave me with C= Q over everything.
