    Grandmother adopting, I'm Relinquishing.
    My son has been living with my Grandmother for over a year and its good for him how do I go forward with the adoption and RELINQUISHING my rights in the most costly manner?

    Talk to a family lawyer in your area.

    They will know which forms to fill out so that you can get a court hearing to relinquish.

    BOTH biological parents have to be willing to relinquish for an adoption to go through, though.

    I really recommend a lawyer ANY time someone is looking at adoption.
