Source for lithium grease in syringe
:)I'm trying to find a source(s) to purchase lithium grease in a syringe tube for application in string trimmer gear heads. If a certain type of lithium grease is better suited for this application, I'd like to know that also. Many Thanks,

I have gotten and actual syringe form the flooring company that does well and fill it up with lithium grease. We use this on flooring to get a gas bubble out or do a welded floor. Its about the perfect size for your need. A better grease might be grease that is used in fishing reels. It's a squeeze tube with a tip. I don't know its capacity for fast spinning heat on the trimmer gears. Maybe it will.

    Hi,
You did not specify a brand, but Sthl make a grease for trimmer gearboxes and the treads on the tube match the threads on their gearboxes so it just threads on, squeeze and fill, and unthread to be done.

    Hi,
Worked on Stihls for over 25 years, they have always done it. Echo do too, worked on them longer. Just like the Stihl grease better.

You could try a marinade injector... but you will have to cut the tip as it has a side outlet as sold. Not sure if the viscosity of the grease will be suitable for it, but they aren't expensive. And if it doesn't work, clean it and put it in the kitchen drawer
