While you're at it define "going out". Did it grab it's keys and wallet and say "See ya later. I'm stepping out to the pub for a pint". :D

Well a guy on here sugested it was going out. Here is my problem. At the moment the furnace is working great no problems for 2 days now. But before this, I turned the heat up to 66 it was at 62 and I could hear the burner kick on but no fan to blow the hot air, I went down stairs and the red light blinking 4 times said thermal protection device open. I turned off the furnace at the furnace and up stairs at the thermostat. And I then turned the thermostat to fan on. The fan ran great for 20 or so min then I decided to turn the furnace back to heat and it kicked on. So a guy said on hear its definitely the circuit board going out. Don't know if that's true but that is the best answer so far. I would love it if someone could exsplain it to me.
