    Credit card agencys
    I have had a call from a credit card agency about a card I forgot I had saying I owed a lot of money last bill was in 2006 .they said they wanted a lot of money a month to pay it of.I explained I'm on my own and on a pension. My house is up for sale and when sold I would pay bill in mean time offered £1 a month ,whitch my bank has accepted for their bill. They said no and would prvent me from selling my house that they are not a charity also they had something on my granson .can they bully like that they made me cry. Also divulge my gransons personal data

    Keep records of what they are saying. They can not bring your grandson into this that is threats and harassment. If your laws are like here I would not pay them even a dime and let them take you to court. Then you can tell the Judge the things they are doing and saying and have a court order that you can follow rather than being bullied into things.

    I'm not sure what the laws are in the UK. But in the US no they can't bully you like that. To prevent the sale of the house they would have to take you to court first.

    I believe there are similar laws in the UK, but we do have some UK members who will probably help further.
