    Laundry tap's primer tube?
    Where does the water from the laundry tap's primer tube( the small plastic tube) goes and it's use?

    Hi VIII2368...

    Just a guess...

    Could be that the SMALL PLASTIC TUBE is coming from a CONDENSATE PUMP that is probably pumping condensation from a forced air furnace.

    If you have a forced air furnace then chase the tube out a bit. Most likely it will end up connected to a pump located at the base of the furnace. Pump may look like picture below.. and pump is very very quiet.

    Only time problems arise here is if pump fails or if drain backs up. If that ever happens can collect the condensation in a bucket temporarily or run out a longer hose until problem is fixed.

    I don't think I understand your question. Can you elaborate in more detail ?

    In the interim, it can be icemaker supply line.

    This small plastic attached to the laundry tap and goes into a larger black plastic and this black plastic tube goes into the basement floor. When the laundry tap is turn on one can hear the water runs through this little tube, where the water go and why?

    I appears that it is a simple version of Floor Drain Primer.

    Primer is a device that drips water into the trap 24/7. It keeps trap in the drain "wet" so sewer gases don't escape into living areas. Usually, Primer is installed during drain installation. It appears that the original plumber didn't install the Primer and put in this "make-shift" primer instead.

    You should run water through it at least once a week to keep trap filled.
